Real Media Group Expands Video Formats and Opportunities

NEW YORK – Real Media Group, a business unit of 24/7 Media, announced today the availability of three new video formats for clients of the 24/7 Video product. These opportunities are quick wins for advertisers and agencies looking to incorporate interactive video advertising with existing creative content.

The new video formats include:

  • Social Slide Bar
  • Action Button
  • Click-to-Long Play

Each of these formats instantly adds interactivity when included as part of a campaign. The formats are a simple, but effective option for advertisers who want to build brand conversations and engage viewers with their video advertising. Early feedback indicates that clients have seen significant increases in click-through rates and targeting opportunities.

“With the acquisition of Panache in December 2011, we began the process of incorporating new video technology into our client offerings and started the year with an ad catalog of 13 creative units,” said Nicolle Pangis, President, Real Media Group. “We have created these three new formats in response to requests from advertisers looking for quick, efficient ways to incorporate video into their campaigns.”

The Social Slide Bar is a flexible unit that can be live in almost no time. The bar slides in over an online video and provides access to up to three social media sites, including Facebook,LinkedIn and YouTube.

The Action Button includes a single call-to-action within the video and is particularly effective when used to promote timely purchase opportunities from retailers such as Amazon.com, iTunes and Fandango, or from an advertiser’s own site.

Click-to-Long Play is the third new offering on 24/7 Video. This is an excellent option for advertisers looking to extend viewer engagement for longer, branded content in a more traditional: 30 pre-roll format. With this option, advertisers can provide opportunities for users to continue watching (via opting in), which extends playback of branded content to the viewer for up to 3 minutes.

These formats, now part of the 24/7 Video ad catalog, are available now.
